Limelight '26
Hello, I'm Gabriel 1 of the 3 current Sec 3s in AMKSB 2026. I was pestered to do this by one of my alumni and also to apparently continue creating blogs consistently...
Honestly this limelight felt special because I knew all of my alumni who was there and got to talk to everyone of them. Not only that, but all the practices, section dinners, suppers, all the time I've spent with my section built our bond greatly. It also felt special since I am actually a senior this time instead of being a junior HAHAHA.
I'm so thankful that my section is ACTUALLY fun instead of being so boring like all the other sections. Everytime I spend time with my alumnus and batch mates, I'm always left with minimal energy. ( Trumpets are just the best there's nothing more to it )
Funny thing is that there were so many alumni that we took up more than half the back row, and the fact is more could have came. In fact, they did. Not as a performer, but as an audience, giving us support. Though they weren't making noise, they still gave us support just by attending the concert.
Hell I didn't know they were honestly so active. After the concert, we still went supper at McDonald's, which some people never come...
Regardless, we still occupied an entire area at amkh MCD WOAHH. We were there from about 10? 11? For Alumni I THINK it was 10 but for the current AMKSB batch mates we were released at 10 45 so we only could reach like at 11.
Once again, thank you to my alumni and my batch mates for putting in so much effort in coming to band and having so much energy till the very end. I wish to work with you even after I graduate and deeply appreciate everything.
Thank you for reading
