Amkss Trumpet Section!

Joel Chua complained about people not updating the blog, so here I am! Yes, EOY is in a week's time and I'm sure some of us aren't preparing for it yet, like me >< Hope everyone does well! Moving on to updating y'all about the events that will be taking place/haven't been mentioned from the previous post, JBF took place on the 9th of September! Not too bad though. There wasn't any trumpet solo this year, booo!! Last year Joelle did great don't'ch'ya think so? :D But only Jing Kai and Yong Khang performed. Gabriel didn't, for don't know what reason lah. In June, we had Band Camp too! This year's was much more tiring than last year. First night we totally went "partying" around. Second day was pretty much uninteresting. At least, to me it was. LOL. So I was reading through the older posts and noticed that all our seniors type their posts in a particular color. Winston in red and Yu qing always in pink. So hard to see with our current background. I just thought it was interesting. Hahaha. Sigh. So anyway, I went to school today just for brass ensemble. And I have throat infection. AHHH!! Hurts like mad. But what can I do? Still have to play. Life of a music student. Also, my history essay is due on monday and I've yet to start on it! 1000 word essay on how to perform a baroque piece. SAY WHAT!? Actually is not I don't want to do, is that my batch mate took the only score of the piece I'm doing from the library. Sigh. Just asked him to photocopy for me. Hope he does so quickly. And I just found out I'm going to have a performance on monday! Monday is going to be so busy!!! History lecture, choir, ensemble rehearsal then concert! Damn. Oh! And principal studies ( Tutoring ) after that. No time for lunch or dinne...

LOL. Just felt like looking at blogs and realized how dead blogs are these days. God. I mean afterall, we do have twitter, facebook and google +. Anyone uses google +? I don't. Blogger has changed so much man. Ok. Anyway, in this blog post, I'll be updating on the events that have happened this year. So, O level results. Zixin did awesomely well! YAY! Stupid girl cry some more. First major event of 2012, AMKSS Esplanade concert, which I have no idea is called what. For me, I played in the Alumni band and the big band. It was quite the experience for me, I must say, firstly, being in alumni band and secondly, playing in a jazz band setting.
