somehow this has become a one year update once kind of blog...
and if anyone even reads this.. hello...

im so glad we decided to just come and play for the concert even though i had to hear chloe's "lets just go home" every practice and even on the concert day itself she was asking me to just go USS instead of SCH... but i think shes secretly grateful i forced her to come anyway even if she claims otherwise.. 😂😂😂

this was AMKSB's first alumni concert and its so nice seeing so many trumpet players come back and play. we had 14 come back + 1 s4 trumpet. crazy 15 trumpets on stage LOL!

i truly enjoyed all the section dinners and supper we have had throughout the past few weeks of practices. love seeing everyone and talking to everyone every year. band is definitely a big highlight of my LIFE (not just in secondary school but literally life).

this year i saw new faces that i havent seen before and talked to people i havent really talked to before! i love how band always brings people together :" also this year i realised ziwei is actually quite funny (shocking discovery!)

being on stage gives me this nervous feeling, yet makes me feel so alive everytime. when i watch back on old performance clips, i always get this wave of nostalgia that makes me want to perform again. even though its not quite the same as before in secondary school, even with different people, it still makes me really happy. not just bcos of the music, but bcos of the laughter and joy that comes with preparing for the concert and with the concert itself. sometimes it even makes me feel like im back in secondary school waiting for the teachers or SK to scold me... jk...

think im super grateful for the teachers and conductors and ofc the committee this year for planning this whole concert and allowing us to come back to play again :D i love band!
