a trip down memory lane (not mine tho)

just spent the last hour reading through the whole blog from the first ever post on 13 september 2005. and i realised, its been 20 years since this blog was created! CRAZY! thats like alm as old as i am now (21! sorry snrs if yall read this lol yall are still young XD).

idk why but reading everyth makes me so gdll, bcos we see how the section progressed from 2005 til now. (tho the blog died in 2012, revived abit in 2019 and eventually died again.) but its also damn funny bcos 50% of the blogposts say "the blog is rotting". HAHHAHAH.. 

some things i learnt:
- da manc dawg likes yanited (disgusting) sorry idek you winston i just had to put it out there. 
- the "history of trumpet section" post made me laugh bcos there was so much drama (glad to know my time was not the only one with drama)
- i alw see the "im disappointed, we need to work harder" and also many "jiayous" to cover them up. (makes me glad that i wasnt the only one who wrote those HAHHAAHHAHA i was contemplating taking down my posts til i saw them and laughed too) 
- also at the age of 15/16, we aired all our problems online HAHAHHAHAHHAh 
- BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY trumpet section has always been v bonded from the start. and we all loved band (when theres no band it feels like hell - i see this through alm everyones post). tho i think traditions might have died down and sadly this blog is now dead, dk about the main band peeps now tho, been awhile since ive grad). 

also why is there a trumpet section birthday!?!?!?
i quote from an above blog: "our section birthday is 17 / 8 !!!!"
can an alumni if you ever read this please explain to me how this came about bcos i rly wna know HAHHAHA. 

reading the old blog aside, 
legend (joel) has been asking me to plan a section outing for everyone and i realised thats GENERATIONS of people. i hope everyone comes bcos itll be so nice to finally meet everyone and put a face behind the names of all you legends ive heard off before, or read about in the blog.
