EOY!
Joel Chua complained about people not updating the blog, so here I am! Yes, EOY is in a week's time and I'm sure some of us aren't preparing for it yet, like me >< Hope everyone does well! Moving on to updating y'all about the events that will be taking place/haven't been mentioned from the previous post, JBF took place on the 9th of September! Not too bad though. There wasn't any trumpet solo this year, booo!! Last year Joelle did great don't'ch'ya think so? :D But only Jing Kai and Yong Khang performed. Gabriel didn't, for don't know what reason lah. In June, we had Band Camp too! This year's was much more tiring than last year. First night we totally went "partying" around. Second day was pretty much uninteresting. At least, to me it was. Third day the secondary fours came back to help the secondary threes! playing alongside with them. Then we had section dinner! FOOOOD :p
anyway, just in case some alumis don't know yet, the new ex cos are:
Drum Major - Koo Lay Siong (in my opinion, immature - not saying that i am better, maybe?)
Band Major Admin - Nicholas Yeo (okay bahhhh)
Band Major Music - Fauzi (needs to be more confident when conducting and project his voice!)
Secretary - Rayna
Uniform QM - Zeng Ying
Instrument QM - Wei Xuan
Librarians - Shu Zhen (jiayous!) and Carrine
TRUMPET's SL............................................. LIM ZHI YONG! :D
Zhi Yong definitely improved a lot in the past 9 months! keep on going!! :D
oh ya, welcome! -i changed the blogskin- i felt this was okay (?) any feed backs, you may post it on the facebook page :D
upcoming major event will be the trip to Phuket trip in December! :D I'm like super excited! I haven't taken a plane in a really long time. But we're going there for a festival and there will be a "competition" where we'll be awarded just like how they do in SYFs. Hope the secondary fours will come! I miss them )': But it will cost like maybe $1000 plus cause we'll be staying at Hilton Hotel! :D Since we're going for the festival, we apparently have to stay in the hotel there too! Plus there will be maybe 2 buses that will be following us 24 hours, and all meals will be included all well, thus the price of $1000 plus. XinMin and Commonwealth will be joining us too! But most likely different planes and stuff (?) cause different schools have different budgets too. This trip will be like a pre-SYF thing. So, just pray that we'll do well! (I'm losing hope ;lone)
